In the first phase, the tuner increases power to 319 HP/235 kW. The maximum torque of 630 Nm makes it possible to get impressive in-gear performance figures. The limousine can make the sprint from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds instead of the standard 6.5 seconds (add 0.1 s for the estate model). The top speed to 267 km/h due to removal of Vmax governor.
This is the Hamann-Imperator, which is essentially a Bentley modded to within an inch of its life by Germans. I know what they’re going for here, name-wise, but you’ve also got laugh when you first read it or say it (for the first 25 or 68 times), because Imperator is quite the moniker to choose for a car. We can only assume that they already have the Hamann-Tyrant in the works, and we’ll get to see that later.
Hamann has completely redesigned the front portion of the Bentley Continental GT (and named it Imperator) in the interest of aerodynamics and Hamann claims that the host of modifications have improved airflow over the car.
